As a graduate of the University of South Alabama, I am certified to teach kindergarten through sixth grade. I also hold an Alabama Teaching Certificate in Physical Education, and I am actively working toward certification in Middle School Science.
Experience
I have several years of teaching experience in both public and private school settings. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, third grade, and fourth grade. I am very excited to add sixth, seventh, and eighth grade science to my list this year!

Dear Parents,
Hello and welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! My name is April Jones, and I will be teaching sixth, seventh, and eighth grade science this year. I have been married for fourteen years, and I have five children. My family and I are thrilled to be part of the North Mobile Christian School community for another school year, and I am looking forward to getting to know each of you.
Middle school is a time of transition and challenge. Throughout this year, you will witness your children maturing into more responsible, more motivated young men and young women. As we work throughout this year, we will develop character traits and skills that the students will use throughout their lives, while also learning what it means to live like Christ in a world that often doesn’t. I am honored to have the opportunity to be a part of your student's education, and I pray that I can model a Christian attitude daily. I cannot wait to see what this year holds!
